Basu’s HomeStyle Indian Cuisine is a labor of love for Basu Ghosh. Basu is a software engineer by training. Earned his MS in Computer Science from UCLA in 1979 and has owned and operated a successful software consulting company, Omnikron Systems for the past 25 years. About a year and a half back Basu and his son Robin started Basu’s HomeStyle. What follows is Basu’s story in his own words:

<p>My family is from the state of West Bengal, in the eastern part of India. Bengali home-cooking is among the finest cuisines in the world. Rich in aromatic spices, a unique blend of savory and sweet flavors combine with meat, chicken, seafood and our unique rice to produce a meal that is tantalizing, spicy and completely memorable. This is the way my mother and family served it in our home in India. When I moved to America, I brought with me this gift of a special home-cooked recipe, that has been developed and perfected over the years, and is now ready to be shared with you.Basu's HomeStyle Indian Cuisine
